Congratulations to the new mom who recently lost almost thirty pounds! What a way to start your healthy life journey!

Way to go to the grandmother who is now making food selections based on nutrient dense foods and getting adequate protein in her diet!

Great job to the young man who is learning to reduce the simple carbs in his life and increase the amount of protein in his diet! Laying off the pizzas and choosing more chicken is a great start!

Sometimes we can be a bit shy about sharing our stories. Maybe we don't see our successes as important enough to share--they are! If it makes you feel positive about yourself, let others know! People who have read I Know I'm in here Somewhere have told me they feel so encouraged. They are learning how to eat healthier and losing weight, drinking less alcohol, drinking more water, and getting more activity in their lives! This is all so encouraging! I LOVE it!!

Several people have shared with me about the positive effects they are experiencing from reading I Know I'm in here Somewhere, and they have passed it on to others. It has been given to their mothers, daughters, friends, and coworkers. Sometimes we feel uncomfortable sharing about ourselves with others, and I totally get it. It is hard opening up and being vulnerable. But the good news is that no one will know who you are on here! Reading about the success that others have had is beneficial to those just starting out, so feel free to share your tips, your positive and negative stories, and your goals. Also, ask for encouragement if you need it...that's what friends are for--virtual friends included.
